The farmer's outfit is an experience-boosting set that grants bonus Farming experience when worn. A Farming level of 34 is required to wear any of the pieces, as pieces of the outfit are purchased from the Tithe Farm shop. The outfit costs a total of 400 points to purchase. The outfit is significantly different for male and female characters: in addition to the other pieces having a different appearance, male characters obtain the farmer's jacket while female characters obtain the farmer's shirt. Attempting to change gender at the Makeover Mage while wearing any of the pieces will result in them saying "'Fraid I can't see you under all that dirt from farming. You'll have to take your farmer's outfit off before I can give you a makeover.".

A reasonably efficient player can earn about 76 points per hour, meaning it takes approximately five and a half hours of Tithe Farm to earn the full farmer's outfit. If earned at low levels, this will save the player approximately 326,000 experience over the course of getting 99 Farming. In obtaining the outfit, 569,692 experience is gained from the Tithe Farm minigame if using Logavano to gain 400 points and getting a perfect score (26 points). This is the equivalent of earning 62,000 (without counting Tithe Farm experience) or 166,000 (with Tithe Farm experience using Logavano) experience per hour. As such, players aiming for 99 Farming should consider if this rate is less than what one might earn doing other more efficient tasks such as tree runs.

Typically, getting the farmer's outfit would lose more time than it saves if going for 99 Farming (or even 200 million experience). However, since Farming is a skill where experience is typically gained in short bursts with longer waiting periods, a player can work on gaining this set between farm runs. This approach will benefit mostly someone focusing on maximising Farming experience gained, rather than balancing experience gain in multiple skills concurrently.

Farmer's outfit can be stored in the armour case of a costume room.

The farmer's strawhat is used in an emote clue and can be stored in the respective STASH unit.
