Sorceress's Garden/Spring
The Spring Garden is available starting at Level 25 Thieving. It is located east of the teleport spawn point.
Lap Time
It takes between 35 to 40 seconds to reach the sq'irk tree, yielding 103 spring sq'irks or 25 spring sq'irkjuice per hour. This assumes near perfect laps and constant running. Players can expect around 21 spring sq'irkjuice per hour equalling about 28,350 xp/h
Experience
- Picking a fruit from the central tree in the Spring garden gives 40 Farming experience.
- Picking the herbs from any garden gives 50 Farming experience.
- The recommended inventory for this activity is a Pestle and mortar, 23 Beer glasses, and four empty inventory spaces for the sq'irks.
- Each banked inventory of 23 spring sq'irkjuices, and 4 extra sq'irks, is worth 3,840 Farming experience and 32,400 Thieving experience.
- Picking just 28 sq'irks, and not making them into juice, each trip is only worth 1,120 Farming experience and 9,450 Thieving experience.
To Position 1
Enter the gate, then run to Position 1. None of the elementals will be able to see you.
To Position 2
Watch the elemental travelling north and south along the garden wall. Wait until it is travelling south, then follow it south along the wall and step into the recessed safe area. If you start running when the elemental is in the position in the picture, you will be safe. If you enter the garden at the right time, you may be able to skip Position 1 and run directly to Position 2. Rarely, the elemental for the next position will see you in the normally safespot.
To Position 3
Watch the same elemental as before, which travels north and south along the garden wall. Wait until it passes you travelling north, then run to Position 3.
To Position 4
This is the most challenging part of the maze, for you must watch three elementals: two travelling clockwise around short hedges, and one travelling north and south between hedges. Watch for the elemental which travels north and south to turn north, then wait for the circling elementals to face away from you, then run to Position 4. You can run straight to Position 5. You may have to wait a few cycles for the timing to work.
To Position 5
Watch the elemental travelling north and south between the hedges. As soon as it passes you, run around the hedge to Position 5. Sometimes you will be able to skip Position 4 and run straight to Position 5.
To Position 6
Watch the elemental travelling east and west. After it turns east, follow it and run around the short hedge to Position 6.
To the Tree
Watch both the elemental travelling east and west and the elemental travelling north and south. Their paths are the same length, so once you figure out the right time to run, you will be able to repeat it every time you go through the maze. Watch for the north-south elemental to turn north, then, as soon as the east-west elemental passes you (you'll have time whether it's travelling east or west), run into the clearing with the tree.
Spring Garden Herbs
Follow the Sq'irk Navigation Guide. Once you get into the clearing with the tree, rather than clicking the tree, you will be heading north to the herb patch. Wait for the elemental to pass by the opening of the clearance, heading west(down), and click the herb patch.
