The statue of King Maximus is a decorative statue found in multiple locations on the outer perimeter of the Fortis Colosseum.
An inspectable variant of the statue can be found in the Grand Museum. It reads:
This statue depicts King Maximus, the creator of the Fortis Colosseum.
In the early days of the kingdom, criminals were sacrified to Ralos in a temple atop the Fortis Cliffs. However, King Maximus ordered the destruction of this temple, insisting there was no place for human sacrifice in Varlamore.
In place of the temple, King Maximus had the Fortis Colosseum built, with it remaining there to this day.
