A steak sandwich is a food item that heals 6 Hitpoints and can be made during Below Ice Mountain. It is made by using bread on cooked meat with a knife in the inventory after learning the recipe from the cook in the Blue Moon Inn near Varrock's south gate.

It is given to Marley to convince him to meet up with Willow. If the player has not yet given a sandwich to Marley, there will be a confirmation dialogue if the player tries to eat it.

More sandwiches can be made during and after the quest. If the player uses the knife on the bread but has not yet learned the recipe and has started the Freeing Pirate Pete subquest of Recipe For Disaster, they will turn the bread into breadcrumbs instead of making a sandwich.
