Valuables are acquired by stealing valuables from wealthy citizens' houses in Civitas illa Fortis. Found inside chests, wardrobes, and jewellery cases, valuables are stackable and will continue to be looted without clicking again for a time, granting 45 Thieving experience per valuable. Rogue equipment will not double the valuables obtained.

Occasionally, a flashing arrow will appear above one of the objects in the house, indicated by a game message in the chatbox stating You notice something shine somewhere else in the house.. These indicate that the player can get a one-time reward of 630 Thieving experience and 14 valuables from it.

Uses

Any valuables obtained may be sold to Oriana, standing just outside the Fortis west bank, for 55 coins each; this is increased to 65 for players who have earned the Gladiator rank at the Fortis Colosseum, requiring 8,000 glory to attain.

Players can also pay 15 valuables to the street urchins around the houses - Lucia, Rufus, and Ava - to learn which house is currently (or about to be) vacant. Oli, found outside the bank, can also be paid for information. After paying them, they will also provide directions to the next house in the form of a flashing arrow.
