A Winch can be found at the end of the Shaman Caves in a room with a large number of barrels. The winch leads to the lower level of the cave system, known as the Viyeldi caves. To operate the winch, the player must first use a rope on it. This only needs to be done the first time, and searching the winch later will cause the rope to appear. During the Legends' Quest the player must drink a bravery potion before they can use the winch to descend to the lower level of the caves. The potion only needs to be drunk once.
