An unfinished crunchy was previously obtained during Gnome cooking when making Toad crunchies. It could be made by adding two Toad's legs and some Gnome spice to a Half baked crunchy, then baking it. Finally, Equa leaves were added to make some Toad crunchies. If a mistake was made at any point, some Odd crunchies would be received instead.

As this process was unnecessarily intricate, it was altered with the Gnome Restaurant rework in 2006. Now, all ingredients are automatically added to create a Half made crunchy, which can then be cooked to produce the new Unfinished crunchy. Once again, equa leaves are used to convert this into some Toad crunchies.

Because the item was removed before 2007, it has never been present in Old School RuneScape. However, it remains in the game files.
