The sealed letter is a quest item used in The Dig Site. It is obtained by taking the unstamped letter to the Curator in Varrock's museum. He will then add his seal to the letter and the player can then return to the digsite exam centre to continue the quest. If you happen to lose your sealed letter, you can acquire a replacement for free from the Curator.
