A jug of bad wine is obtained when a player attempts to ferment grapes or Zamorak's grapes and fails, similar to burning food. To ferment grapes, a Cooking level of at least 35 is needed. Fermenting grapes is no longer failed at a cooking level of 68, while Zamorak's grapes cease to fail at level 98.
A player does not receive any cooking experience when the player's unfermented wine or Zamorak's unfermented wine goes bad. Players can drink the bad wine, but this will temporarily reduce the player's Attack level by 3. This is more than the 2 level reduction from wine, and it also does not heal. Drinking more jugs of bad wine will stack this effect.
Should players wish to get rid of all their jugs of bad wine from their bank, the incinerator can destroy stacks of items from within the bank interface.
