The Combination scroll is an unobtainable item present in the RuneScape 2 beta. It would have been used in the original version of Death Plateau. Presumably, players would have obtained it after playing dice against the guard. It provided the code to the equipment storage room, and had to be delivered to Marius alongside the secret way map in order to complete the quest.

The item was deleted before the end of the beta. In the final version of Death Plateau released in August 2004, it was superseded by the Combination, which serves the same purpose. However, since there is no equivalent to the Iou, it is possible that the guard would just give the player the Combination scroll directly.
