A single plank can be found floating in the ocean at the location of a balloon crash site, where the player can end up when failing to navigate the obstacles present on an initial journey with the balloon transport system. If the balloon crashes in the water while attempting to cross the ocean by air, the player can swim to this plank in order to be brought back ashore on the island of Entrana.

The floating plank was later repurposed in the Clan Wars minigame as a scenery item used to populate the Northleach Quell map.

Trivia

• Upon release of the Clan Wars minigame on 19 June 2014, the reused balloon crash site planks which were scattered along the shores of Northleach Quell could be used to teleport to Entrana, thereby allowing players to bypass the prohibition of weaponry and armour enforced on the holy island. This unintentional consequence of recycling the improvised life raft was rectified in the following week's update.
