A locked gate is found in the Ghorrock Dungeon during Secrets of the North. The gate is opened using the icy key, which is found inside the icy chest after finishing all the puzzles in the dungeon. After the gate is unlocked the key is consumed and all the puzzles are complete.

While passing through the gate after completing the puzzle, it is temporarily replaced by an open gate. After completing the quest, the gate is replaced by an identical unlocked gate.
