Several months ago, the cult stole a set of armour from Ceril Carnillean then broke in four more times in search of the scroll required to revive Hazeel, but failed each time.[1][2] In Hazeel Cult, Ceril commissions the player to retrieve the armour, pointing them to the cult's lair in the sewers.
The player meets Clivet down there, who explains that the Carnillean family were thieves. He offers the player the opportunity to join the cult. If the player refuses, Clivet flees into the sewers and has to be chased down.
If the player accepts, Clivet instructs the player to prove their loyalty by poisoning one of the Carnilleans. However, the poisoned food is instead served to the Carnilleans' dog, Scruffy. Clivet accepts the poisoning as a sign of loyalty anyway. He gives the player a mark of Hazeel and instructs them to use it to find the hideout by manipulating the sewer valves above ground. He then recommends to the cult's leader, Alomone, that he should allow the player to join the cult. Alomone accepts the recommendation, and welcomes them as the newest member of the Cult of Hazeel.
He also plays a small role in Secrets of the North if the player sided with the Carnilleans, summoning General Khazard when requested to by Hazeel.
