A chest is found in the Ghorrock Dungeon during Secrets of the North. The chest is found in the centre room with the braziers, and is initially locked until the four braziers are lit in the correct order. Once unlocked, the chest can be searched to find the settlements note as well as a jewel shard needed to solve the dungeon puzzle.

While opening the chest, it is temporarily replaced by an open chest. After completing the quest, the chest is replaced by an identical chest with no search option.
