Two bird baths can be found within Varlamore: one outside the entrance to the temple west of Civitas illa Fortis, north of Ortus Farm, and the other within the city itself, outside the east entrance to the temple south of the Bazaar.

The player has the option to drink from the bird bath. Doing so has a chance to damage the player for 1 hitpoints, poison them, boost their defence by 2, or do nothing.

Trivia

• Attempting to use a vessel that can normally be filled with water (such as a bowl, jug, bucket, or vial) on the bird bath returns a unique message: "There really isn't enough water in here to do that."
