The Bow and arrow is an unobtainable item that would have been added alongside Construction. Presumably, it would have been used for the Archery target in the Games room. Its player model and examine description are conflicting, as while the player view model and the name features an actual bow and arrow, the examine and the inventory appearance describe an arrow only.

Most likely it was designed to be an obtainable item, that players would have to collect before they could use the Archery target. This was removed, and players are required to bring their own bow and arrows instead.

Unlike the Hoop or Dart, which can still be seen in the animations for their respective games, the bow and arrow does not appear at all in Old School RuneScape.
