The chest located in Gu'Tanoth can be opened by the player. Upon opening it, an aggressive spider level 1 will spawn, attacking the player. Opening it will also display the following messages in the chat box:

• Ahh! Theres a spider inside.
• Someone's idea of a joke...

Strangely enough, after opening the chest it will stay open for quite a long time. While the chest is open players can not close, examine or otherwise interact with the chest in any way.
