A cleaning cloth is made by using Karamjan rum or Karamjan rum (sliced banana) on a piece of silk, which is used to wipe the poison off a weapon or the colour off an abyssal whip or dark bow if one has used the recolouring items obtained from the Bounty Hunter Shop. If used on a stackable item, such as poisoned darts, it will remove the poison from the entire stack. It can also be used to clean Blamish Oil off of an oily fishing rod or oily pearl fishing rod. The cleaning cloth can be used multiple times.

This item can also be bought with 60 coins from Tamayu in the village of Tai Bwo Wannai, located south of Brimhaven, deep in the jungle of Karamja, once the Tai Bwo Wannai Trio quest is completed.

The easiest way to make them is to use a knife to create sliced bananas, use the sliced bananas on the Karamjan rum, creating an unlabeled variant of the rum which does not get destroyed like normal, and then either teleporting to the mainland or banking the Karamjan rum in the Tzhaar caves.

A fast way to make them is to buy regular silk and bank it. Withdraw it using the bank in the Tzhaar caves. Then, exit through the volcano in Karamja, buy the rum (due east of the volcano, next to the Karamja general store), and make the cleaning cloths. Drop the rum outside the Tzhaar cave entrance as it explodes from the heat if taken in, re-enter the volcano, and bank the cleaning cloths, withdraw 26 more silk, exit the caves and pick up the rum and repeat the process.

Alternatively, you can also use an amulet of glory to teleport to Karamja to buy the Karamjan rum and drop it near the docks where the amulet of glory teleports your character. Pick up the rum and make your cleaning cloths, then teleport to Castle Wars using a ring of dueling to bank your cloths and repeat.
