Cured yak-hides are obtained by taking a yak-hide to Thakkrad Sigmundson on Neitiznot and paying him 5 coins to cure it. They can also be bought from the Contraband yak produce store on Jatizso starting at 110 coins each.

Cured yak-hides can be crafted into yak-hide legs and yak-hide bodies with the use of a needle and thread. Yak-hide legs require one cured yak-hide and 43 Crafting, while yak-hide bodies require two cured yak-hides and 46 Crafting. Each item gives 32 Crafting experience upon creation, which is unusual, as usually when crafting with hides the experience granted is based on the amount of hides used.
