The damaged dagger is a quest item that appears in the Watchtower quest and it can be found after the quest's completion. The player can find it by searching the bushes surrounding the Watchtower outside the north wall of Yanille. It serves no purpose during the quest and is there as a red herring.

While it cannot be used as a weapon, it can be used to slash webs.
