The Dark Mage is a Zamorakian mage that lives in a tower east of the entrance to the Underground Pass in West Ardougne. He provides various services related to Iban's staff.

Services

• He will fix a broken Iban's staff for 200,000 coins.
• He will upgrade an Iban's staff to an Iban's staff (u) for 200,000 coins, which holds 2,500 charges instead of 120. This also fully recharges the staff. He will also repair and upgrade a broken Iban's staff at once for 400,000 coins.
• He will recharge an Iban's staff for 100,000 coins for the standard staff or 250,000 coins for the upgraded staff. This is an alternative to bringing the uncharged staff to the Flames of zamorak well in the Underground Pass, where the player can recharge it for free; however, recharging it with the Dark Mage is much safer.
