The gap is a hole in a bridge inside Gu'Tanoth. Partial completion of the Watchtower quest along with a rock cake is necessary to access this bridge for the first time. Jumping the gap from the south will grant the player 5 experience in Agility at the cost of 20 coins each time. Level 25 Agility is required to do so. No experience is awarded when jumping the gap in the opposite direction.

While players no longer will have to bribe the ogre guards at the second checkpoint with a rock cake on subsequent visits to Gu'Tanoth, jumping back over the gap after having crossed it will reset the player's payment status, leading the guards to demand another bribe the following visit. However, if the player teleports out rather than jump back across, they will not be prompted to pay a bribe on their next attempt to cross the bridge. It is possible that this behaviour is the result of a misconception when the ogre city was converted from RuneScape Classic.
