Inhabitants
The village has three inhabitants:
- Gwerin Hapus, who runs the local mill.

Trivia
- Gwenith is Welsh for "wheat".
- The town may be a reference to the song "Fire Coming Out of the Monkey's Head" by the English band Gorillaz. This song tells the story of people called 'happy folk' who are the blind residents of a town in the shadow of a mountain called 'monkey'. The residents are killed by invaders and dance the 'dance of the dead'.
