Penance (attribute)

The penance attribute is assigned to monsters that receive extra damage in Barbarian Assault from players in the attacker role.

Effects

• The base damage of the player is increased by their Attacker level (1-5). For example, if a player's maximum hit is normally 21 and the player's Attacker level is 3, the damage dealt will vary between 3-24. Even if the player misses, the player will still hit a 3 in this scenario.

Excluded monsters

The Penance Healer, Penance Runner and Penance Queen are not targettable by combat. The Queen spawn, despite being attackable, does not receive any extra damage.
