Pink dye is a members-only dye. Players initially make it as part of The Hand in the Sand quest by using redberries and white berries on a special bottle of water. They will then use it on a lantern lens to make a rose-tinted lens. Pink dye is additionally used during the While Guthix Sleeps quest to create a new rose-tinted lens if the previous lens was lost.

After completing The Hand in the Sand, players can buy more of it from Betty in the Magic Shop in Port Sarim for 20 coins. It should be noted that to purchase the dye, players must use the "Talk-to" option on Betty, as the trade option does not work.

It is distinct from the paste made during Prince Ali Rescue.

Zen Theme

Pink dyes are rarely used as an ingredient to train Construction and Farming through Zen Theme, costing only 3GP/XP and giving up to 252k XP/Hour in both Construction and Farming.

Buying a full inventory of Pink Dyes from Betty and depositing at the Port Sarim deposit box takes between 1 minute and 45 seconds up to 2 minutes, giving up to 800-925 pink Dyes/Hour.
