A rose-tinted lens is a quest item used in The Hand in the Sand and While Guthix Sleeps. Players make it by using pink dye on a lantern lens. Pink dye can only be obtained from Betty in Port Sarim for 20 coins. The lens cannot be made after both quests have been completed, attempting to do so gives the message You have no need for a rose-tinted lens right now.
