Silif is a Temple Knight operative working under Akrisae Kolluym as part of the alliance between the Temple Knights, the Guardians of Armadyl, and the Guthixian Crux Eqal, who joined forces to oppose Lucien. He is known for having a good memory, and refers to the player's exploits as legendary.

During While Guthix Sleeps, he is rescued from the Black Knight Catacombs after he was sent to investigate a reported sighting of the Dark Squall, and returns to White Knights' Castle with details of the location of Lucien's camp.

After completing the quest, the player can reobtain the Dark Squall robes from him in the White Knights' Castle if they have lost them.
