The prickly kebbit is a kebbit found in the Piscatoris Hunter area. They can be caught with the Hunter skill at level 37 or above, granting 204 Hunter experience. Prickly kebbits may be assigned as a hunters' rumour task by Huntmaster Gilman.

Hunting technique
The hunting technique used for catching these kebbits is the deadfall trap. To set up a deadfall trap, the player will need a knife and some logs. After setting up a trap, just wait for a kebbit to get stuck underneath it.
It is recommended to bring an axe while hunting here, since the trees in this area can provide an unlimited amount of logs. It is also recommended to bring a chisel to fletch kebbit spikes into stackable kebbit bolts, requiring level 32 Fletching.
Strategies
On average, hunting prickly kebbits will provide about 35,000 experience per hour. While hunting them only in order to gain experience one should have at least 4 logs in their inventory and every second time after setting up a trap one should cut two more logs. This will provide the maximum amount of experience per hour.
While doing rumour tasks, bring a full inventory of logs and combine your deadfall trap with box traps catching grey chinchompa or copper longtails with bird snares at the piscatoris hunting grounds. This maximises your exp and fills your waiting time. If you still find an open window of time, try catching ruby harvest butterflies with a net and no butterfly jars.

Kebbit spikes can be used to make twelve kebbit bolts.
