The Priests of Sophanem are found in the Great Temple of Sophanem on the west side of the city. The priests are worshippers of Icthlarin, along with the High Priest found in the temple. Like many of the NPCs in Sophanem, the priests have a strange plague brought from Menaphos.

If the player attempts to use the potion (which is revealed to be an acne potion to relieve the itching), the Priest will firmly refuse. He will claim that it would do nothing to ease the plague, since it is a "divine burden", which no amount of alchemy or potion mixing will ease. And it would also ruin his robes.
