Klenter is a ghost and the former High Priest of Icthlarin. He died recently and was buried by means of an embalming ritual. Few mourned his loss or liked the man. The local embalmer describes him as a cruel and hard man, as well as grudgy and vindictive. Neite, who permitted him to feed her, also called him cranky and prone to making people suffer if he did not get his will.
Icthlarin's Little Helper
During Icthlarin's Little Helper, the player was tricked and hypnotised by Amascut the Devourer to infiltrate his tomb and steal one of the canopic jars containing his organs, so that she could devour his soul. When the player tries to leave Klenter's Pyramid after hiding one of her symbols inside one of the sarcophagi, Icthlarin himself breaks the hypnosis placed on them by Amascut and the player wakes up outside the pyramid without realising what they had done. He also raises the ghost of Klenter to the streets of Sophanem for him to protect his soul. The ghost is vengeful, blaming the player for what they had done (although the player will only know what he is saying while wearing a ghostspeak amulet) and ranting about it to everyone in the city, who will turn hostile towards the player for desecrating the tomb, except for the sphinx. If the player stays near him for too long, he will lose his patience and attack them, dealing a small amount of damage. He may also steal a small amount of coins from the player instead.
Later, the player manages to enter the pyramid again (with the help of their cat) to return the canopic jar they stole earlier, receiving Klenter's gratitude for doing so and being freed from the effects of the plagues. After this, the new High Priest decides to perform a second embalming ritual for Klenter, during which Amascut attacks the congregation with a Possessed Priest thanks to the symbol the player had unknowingly placed there before, but she fails and leaves.
By the end of the quest, it is stated by the High Priest that, unfortunately for the people of Sophanem, Amascut had hypnotised another adventurer immediately after running away from the ritual, to make them do the same things the player had previously done, and for that reason the plagues hadn't been lifted from Sophanem. The High Priest also states that, for as long as she doesn't give up on stealing Klenter's soul, the struggle between Icthlarin and Amascut would continue forever.
If the player speaks to Klenter after the end of the quest, he will thank them for giving his soul some respite. The player's character will want to ask a question, but not before Klenter disappears forever.

Trivia
- Similar to Monkey Guards and Brawlers, Klenter cannot be passed through and players will have to manually path around him if he is in the way.
- Speaking to him without a ghostspeak amulet after the quest will still state that he is deeply angry towards the player's actions.
