A scrying pool can be built in the Centrepiece space of the Portal Chamber in a player-owned house. It requires 80 Construction to build and when built, it gives 2,000 experience. The pool can be used to scout the locations where the players' portal would take them.

It is the last centrepiece able to be built in the Portal Chamber, the first being the Teleport focus and the second being the Greater teleport focus. Like the teleport focus, it can still be used to direct portals to teleportation locations.

The scrying pool can be used to see the areas where players' portals would take them. This excludes locations in the Wilderness, where it would instead state the amount of players within the vicinity in the chatbox.

When creating teleports, location 1 is the portal to the left of the door when walking into the portal chamber. Location 2 is directly opposite of the door. Location 3 is the portal to the right of the door when walking into the portal chamber.
