Soiled pages are a possible drop from the Hueycoatl, which are used to charge the tome of earth.
Each soiled page adds 20 charges to the tome, and one charge is consumed when any earth spell is cast with the tome equipped. Each time a charge is used, it will increase a spell's accuracy and damage by 10%. Casting non-combat standard spells or any spell from other spellbooks spell requiring earth runes will provide infinite runes and not consume any charges. Players may remove the pages from the tome should they wish to do so.
An empty tome of earth can be traded in to the seer at the Darkfrost for 250 soiled pages each.

The quantity of soiled pages dropped has been increased from 1-30 to 30-80, and its drop rate has been increased from ~1/22 to ~1/13.6. |
Trivia
- Using soiled pages on the man in the toilet south of the Hosidius vinery will result in him telling you "That's very kind of you, but no thanks."
- The pages were originally pitched as "muddy pages", but this was changed after community consultation to avoid confusion with mud runes.
