Squashing the Giant is a medium combat achievement which requires the player to kill Obor without taking any damage off prayer.

Strategy

Using Magic and either Snare or freezing spells is recommended for this achievement. Use the Protect from Missiles Prayer and avoid melee damage at all costs. The achievement will still complete if the player takes damage from the falling rocks while praying Protect from Missiles. Remember to enable Prayers before climbing down to fight Obor. Enabling Prayers during the climb-down may cause the achievement to fail. Make sure to enter the room when Obor is far away from the rocks used to enter the lair, to decrease the chance of Obor hitting before he is caught with a Snare or freezing spell. With a high Magic level, Ice Barrage is recommended.

Players with high melee stats may also choose to try and tank the damage by praying range and equipping good crush armour while trying to end the fight quickly with a high damage spec weapon such as the dragon dagger or dragon claws. While this method is less skill intensive, it does require an amount of luck to pull off and may take several tries.
