Tombs Speed Runner III is a grandmaster combat achievement which requires the player to complete the Tombs of Amascut raid in an 8-man party within 18 minutes, at raid level 300 or above.
Strategy
All players should ideally have a high Mining level to clear Het's challenge in one cycle to avoid wasting extra time with the 1-tick pre-mining method to get an additional hit in. All players are required to have near or best-in-slot gear as players must burst through the bosses very quickly. The bosses will have 8 times the amount of health they would in solo.
The zaryte crossbow with Ruby dragon bolts (e) can deal a lot of damage with its special attack. Some players should carry a bandos godsword to debuff the boss' Defence so the bolts can hit more frequently. A player can bring a Keris partisan of corruption to use its special attack to allow teammates to deal more damage for a short duration.
Apmeken's challenge can prove to be quite annoying since the baboons' health will scale very high, although they can still be dealt with proper coordination. Ba-Ba and Zebak are fairly straightforward fights without much issue.
For Kephri, two or three players should act as swarm killers, killing the scarab swarms that appear during the interlude phases to minimise the amount of healing Kephri can recover; if done properly, she will only recover with 1 health, often resulting in the next hit putting her out.
Akkha can be the most troublesome of the four bosses due to his mechanics which can stall players out, so players getting targeted by him in his melee stance should use the butterfly method to prevent him from attacking and allowing the team to smash his health down.
The Wardens are a straightforward fight and should not pose any problems.
Assuming a normal raid level of 300 with no path levelling, the enemies would have the following health:
- Zebak: 7400
- Kephri: 1910 (shield), 1020 (unguarded)
- Akkha: 5100
- Ba-Ba: 4850
- Obelisk: 3320
- Wardens: 1790 (shield), 33930 (core), 11230 (phase 3)
- Skulls: 4
