Budget Cutter is a master combat achievement which requires the player to kill Vardorvis in combat equipment worth under 2,000,000.

Strategy

The achievement requires both the player's Worn Equipment and inventory to be under 2,000,000. This includes food and potions but does not include the price of runes in a rune pouch. If the item is untradeable, its value will be used instead. By opening the Items Kept on Death interface and selecting "Pk Skull active", the player can see the total guide risk value of their setup. Note that the game will not tell players whether they've failed the achievement, and will simply give no completion message upon killing Vardorvis, so checking that the total value is valid before starting the fight is recommended.

The player should use a fairly cheap, but strong slash-based weapon, such as a dragon scimitar or Saradomin sword.
