The Ardougne Castle Chest are two thievable chests located on the 1st floor[UK]2nd floor[US] of Ardougne castle, one to the North and one to the South. The chests require 72 Thieving (boostable) to unlock, and rewards the player with 500 experience each time it is opened.
A door requiring 61 Thieving to pick (also boostable) must be opened to gain access to the chest, using the "Pick-lock" option on the door. This may be failed, but can simply be attempted again. The player gets 50 experience for unlocking either of the North or South doors. The chest must first be searched for traps, upon succeeding the player will trigger a second trap and be teleported to Witchaven. If the player does not search for traps and instead clicks open they will be dealt high damage. It takes 500 seconds (8 minutes 20 seconds) for the contents of the chest to respawn.
Opening this chest is a task required for the hard tier of the Ardougne diary.

Getting there
There are many ways to get to this chest as it is located in a city:
- Use the Ardougne Teleport spell or teleport tablet and run west.
- Take the wilderness lever to Ardougne and run east.
- A spirit tree is located just south of the castle, take any spirit tree to the Battlefield of Khazard and run north to the castle.
- The Grouping teleport to the Rat Pits (kittens) is directly north of the castle.
- The Achievement Diary Cape teleport to Two-pints is directly north of the castle.
Other nearby teleports include the Ardougne cape teleports and Fairy ring code DJP.
