Hunting technique
The hunting technique is the same as for a couple other kebbits. Catching a desert devil involves tracking it from its burrow to its final destination by searching for its trail. The player can unveil a kebbit's trail by searching the burrows, cacti, rockslides, and disturbed sand. The kebbits are always found in disturbed sand when caught. They can be caught by "attacking" the disturbed sand while wielding a noose wand.
Catching desert devils with rings of pursuit and stamina potions players can expect 20,000 experience per hour with decent focus.
Strategies
Equipping ring of pursuit will increase experience rates as it reveals the entire track at once.
Uses
Desert devil fur can be used to make desert camouflage gear.
