The Edgeville bank, also known as edge bank, is a popular bank found in Edgeville, east of the Grand Exchange and just below the Wilderness ditch.

On the north wall of the Edgeville bank players can find the Wilderness Statistics board, displaying their kill to death ratio in the Wilderness, as well as the ratios of nearby players. There is also a loot chest for player killers.

Role

The Edgeville bank is located in the very centre of the town, and is often full of player killers coming from the Wilderness. Players with amulets or mounted glories also use the bank frequently, due to its close proximity to the amulet's Edgeville teleport location. Combined with the glory's teleport option, Edgeville's bank is incredibly popular due to the large range of activities offered in the area.

Runecrafting

The bank serves as a convenient place for those training Runecrafting to deposit their runes and resupply, as it's a 20-second run away from the Mage of Zamorak that teleports players to the Abyss.

Smithing

Many players train Smithing at the furnace just east of the bank; it's one of the closest furnaces to a bank, and is available to all players, including free-to-play players. A very common way for people to make money is to have an alt account that creates cannonballs at the Edgeville furnace.

Woodcutting

The yew trees south of the bank are a common AFK option for players looking to train Woodcutting, allowing the logs to be quickly banked after each inventory.

Slayer

Players using Kristilia for Wilderness tasks typically bank here, as it's just south of her cell. Players can then go back into the Wilderness immediately after, often with the help of the deep Wilderness teleport lever south of the bank.

Trivia

• The Edgeville bank came with a redesign of the town, alongside the addition of the Wilderness. Prior to the Wilderness rework, the area had been known simply as Ghost Town and had no bank; the building's texture was much darker, and the entrance was on the east side.
