Barbarian Village |
Edgeville is a small town located at the border of the Wilderness. Edgeville is a popular town to trade player killing-related items, and the bank is popular among players training Runecraft via the Abyss. Edgeville is also popular with members who own amulets of glory, as it is a fast bank to get to via a teleport.
In the early development of RuneScape Classic, Edgeville only had empty buildings; it was commonly referred to as "Ghost Town" until items were placed in the buildings and the town was given its official name.
Locations
Buildings
Building | Description |
---|---|
Doris' house | A quaint house run by Doris, with a trapdoor to Evil Dave's Basement of Doom. |
Edgeville bank | The bank of Edgeville. Players can find the Wilderness Statistics board on the north wall of the bank. |
Edgeville furnace | A small building featuring the closest free-to-play furnace to a bank. Members can wear Varrock armour 1 or above to obtain a bonus smelting chance (a 10% chance of smelting 2 bars at once, with higher Varrock armours allowing higher level metals). |
Edgeville General Store | A two-story building featuring a general store, a range, and Perdu, who returns reward items to you for a high fee. |
Edgeville grange | A large building found north of the bank, inhabited by a number of men and some farming equipment. |
Edgeville jail | A heavily-guarded jail in which the Slayer Master Krystilia is imprisoned. |
Edgeville Mausoleum | The ruins of a mansion, hosing the Soul Wars Portal, a yew tree, the Wilderness lever, and an entrance to the Edgeville dungeon. |
Edgeville Monastery | A large monastery with low-level monks. The top level can be accessed with 31 Prayer, and contains monk robes. |
Lucien's house | A small house in which the Mahjarrat Lucien lives. |
Outlaw camp | A small encampment south of Lucien's house. |
Oziach's house | An armour shop that sells the fabled rune platebody to players who have completed Dragon Slayer I. |
Other
Location | Description |
---|---|
Canoe station | A large tree that allows access to the canoe system. |
Edgeville dungeon | See below. |
Edgeville teleport lever | A teleport lever leading to the high-level Wilderness. Pulling the lever teleports the player to the Deserted Keep. A knife or a slash weapon is required to cut the keep's web.
Note that the lever in the Deserted Keep teleports to Ardougne, so the Edgeville lever is a one-way trip. If players have completed the easy Wilderness Diary, however, they can right-click the lever in the Deserted Keep to change their destination to either Edgeville or Ardougne. |
Evil Dave's Basement of Doom | An area where players can use their cats to catch hell-rats, which drop spices. |
Fairy ring | Fairy ring DKR brings the player here. |
Dungeon
The Edgeville Dungeon is a massive dungeon which can be entered from a trapdoor beside the yew trees in the destroyed mausoleum. The dungeon is home to a variety of monsters, including skeletons, hobgoblins, zombies, and hill giants. The giants' lair is often full of players fighting Hill Giants because of the giants' drops, which include big bones. There is also a mid-size mine at the centre of the dungeon, guarded by aggressive level 25 skeletons. The mine contains adamantite, mithril, silver, coal, and iron rocks.
For members, there is a part of the dungeon in the Wilderness. In this part you can find chaos druids, earth warriors, black demons, and lots of red spiders' eggs spawns. Members can also find Vannaka, a mid-level Slayer Master, at the far east side of the dungeon, next to the Agility shortcut that leads to the Varrock Sewers.

- Oziach is the solution to the hard cryptic clue: The keeper of Melzars...Spare? Skeleton? Anar?
- Players will need to solve a puzzle box.
