Money making guide/Catching sharks
Lua error in ...ribunto/includes/Engines/LuaCommon/lualib/mwInit.lua at line 23: bad argument #1 to 'old_ipairs' (table expected, got nil). At level 76 Fishing players can start catching Raw sharks. Only an average of 90 sharks can be caught per hour at lower levels, yielding 56,070; whereas upwards of 170 can be caught at much higher levels, yielding 105,910.
The best place to catch sharks is on the docks at the Fishing Guild, as you will have an invisible +7 Fishing level boost while inside the guild. There is a nearby bank to store your sharks after you catch them, and it is recommended to use a Dragon harpoon as it gives the player a 20% faster catch rate compared to the regular harpoon; or if you have completed Song of the Elves you can use a Crystal harpoon which has an increased rate of 12.5% more than the Dragon harpoon for a total of a 32.5% increased catch rate. Additionally, equipping any Rada's blessing will provide a 2%, 4%, 6% or 8% chance to catch two sharks at once respectively. Spirit flakes held in your inventory also give a 50% chance to catch two sharks at the cost of one flake per fish caught, however both the Rada's blessing and Spirit flakes will yield no additional experience for any extra sharks caught; this effect does stack with the Rada's blessing.
This money making method by fishing is great for acquiring raw sharks passively while also being a relatively AFK activity, as opposed to catching them via Catching minnows which is more click-intensive.
