Thick Skin is a Prayer that the player starts with upon creating their character. Thick Skin increases the player's Defence by 5%.
Like all other stat-affecting prayers, it cannot be used in conjunction with another prayer that increases the player's Defence level, such as Rock Skin.

- While the term "thick skin" in this case literally refers to the fortification of one's body, the phrase "thick skin" also has a colloquial meaning of "being unbothered by insults or opinions of others."
