Weight-reducing clothing

Weight-reducing clothing is clothing that players can wear that will reduce their weight. There are currently eleven items that can be worn to reduce a player's weight.

If a player wore the pieces of armour that offered the maximum weight reduction (Graceful hood, Graceful top, Graceful legs, Boots of lightness, Penance gloves, and Spottier cape), that player would achieve the lowest possible weight of –27.5 kilograms.

The Graceful outfit set effect increases energy restore rate by 30%. Even if a player isn't wearing the entire set, the individual graceful piece still offers some energy restore rate increase, and therefore is generally preferable to non-graceful counterpart. The exceptions being situations where there is constant running and it will not cause the player's weight to go below 0.0kg or in level 20+ Wilderness, where graceful is lost on death if not protected. In the Wilderness, boots of lightness and spotted or spottier cape are better because they can be re-obtained cheaply by paying Perdu 9,800 coins or from the Grand Exchange.

Weight-reducing equipment is very useful for skilling and quests that involve a lot of running because run energy decreases relative to a player's weight (e.g. lower weight means less run energy depleted). Agility obstacles sometimes have a greater chance of being completed if the player is lighter. Other weightless items exist and can be used without penalising a player's weight.

Having negative weight is the same as having 0.0kg of weight in terms of run energy depletion rates.
