Escape ropes are found in every room of Swensen's maze during The Fremennik Trials. Their purpose is to provide an escape route for players who accidentally found a dead end in the maze, as a dead end room will only lead to other dead end rooms.

The maze can only be accessed during The Fremennik Trials.
