Sturdy boots are a quest item used in The Fremennik Trials quest. They are obtained by giving a fiscal statement to Yrsa in Rellekka. The boots can then be given to Olaf the Bard who will then compose a Fremennik ballad, which you will then have to give to the sailor. He will then give you an exotic flower which when given to Sigmund the Merchant, will be exchanged for his vote.
