A giant egg sac is an item obtained as a drop from Sarachnis, which can be opened with a knife while standing inside a bank (right click egg sac in bank interface, then click empty) to obtain 100 red spiders' eggs, which is worth 40,600. This means opening a full giant egg sac results in a profit of 2,323.

The red spiders' eggs are placed into your inventory as items (not as notes), and the giant egg sac (full) becomes the untradeable giant egg sac.

Once opened, the untradeable giant egg sac has a Remove-eggs option which will remove red spiders' eggs from the sac and place them in free inventory slots.
