Funeral Pyres are used during the Shades of Mort'ton quest and minigame to burn shade remains and obtain shade keys.

To burn a shade remains:

1. Place the correct type of pyre logs (see below) on the pyre.
2. Place the shade remains on the pyre
3. Light the shade remains with a tinderbox
4. A shade key or a pile of coins appears on a nearby stone stand. Take the key/coins.

The type of pyre logs that have to be used depends on the type of shade remains you want to burn:

• Loar and Phrin remains can be burned on any type of pyre logs
• Riyl remains must be burned on willow pyre logs or better
• Asyn remains must be burned on yew pyre logs or better
• Fiyr remains must be burned on magic pyre logs or better
• Urium remains can only be burned on redwood pyre logs

Burning of shade remains on a Funeral Pyre.

A "Build" option has been added to add the best pyre log in the player's inventory, rather than having to use the logs on the pyre. A "Use" option has been added to add the best remains in the player's inventory, rather than having to use it on the pyre.
