The medical gown is a quest item used in Biohazard and A Tail of Two Cats. It is found in the cupboard of Nurse Sarah's house, south-west of the west Ardougne church.

While it is equipped, the player is allowed to enter the Mourners' Headquarters in the north-east corner of West Ardougne after poisoning the stew in the back yard with a rotten apple. This item may also be used as part of a medical disguise in A Tail of Two Cats.

Duplicates can be drop tricked by searching the cupboard to obtain another. Duplicates can be obtained after completing the quests, but it serves only as a cosmetic item.
