The profit rate assumes kills per hour. Your actual profits may be higher or lower depending on your speed and luck. At maximum efficiency, it is possible to obtain 70-75 kills per hour.

Brutal black dragons may be found in the Catacombs of Kourend. The average value of one kill is 31,703.89 coins. It is recommended to bring 1-2 Prayer potions (depending on Prayer level), a divine ranging potion and an extended antifire. Protect from Magic should always be activated, or death is certain due to their extremely powerful magical attacks as well as dragonfire. Together, Protect from Magic and Antifire nullify all damage from a distance, but players need to make sure that both are on simultaneously. Melee damage is still highly damaging, so players should be careful if picking up loot while next to an attacking dragon.

Players should always restore prayer and health at Player-owned house or at Ferox Enclave and teleport back using Xeric's talisman. Restoring at Ferox using a Ring of Dueling is a good option for players without an Ornate rejuvenation pool. It also can be faster than restoring at a POH, since a bank box is right next to the Ferox Pool of refreshment, eliminating the need to teleport a second time to bank loot from kills. The Pool of Refreshment will remove any stat bonuses, as from Divine ranging potions.

• 55+ kills/hr (1,743,714 gp) with max , elite void knight equipment, dragon hunter crossbow, necklace of anguish and rigour.
• 65+ kills/hr (2,060,753 gp) with max , armadyl armour/elite void knight equipment, twisted bow, necklace of anguish and rigour.
• 70+ kills/hr (2,219,272 gp) with max , Masori armour, twisted bow, necklace of anguish and rigour.
