Monstrous Basilisks are larger variants of basilisks that are only encountered during the The Fremennik Exiles when basilisks attack in an attempt to take over Rellekka. Defeating one adds 10% towards the completion of defending the region. Like other basilisks, they have a gaze ability that drains all combat stats, so defeating them requires a mirror shield or V's shield, which is collected shortly before the invasion.

Trivia

• The examine message is a reference to Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. The only antidote to the venom of the basilisk was the tears of a phoenix.
