A seal of passage is a neckwear slot item that is required to be worn or held in the inventory in order to talk to or trade with anyone on Lunar Isle, except for 'Birds-Eye' Jack, the banker available after Dream Mentor. Without it, players attempting to speak with anyone will be forcibly teleported from Lunar Isle back to Rellekka.

The seal of passage is obtained at the beginning of the Lunar Diplomacy quest by talking to Brundt the Chieftain in the longhall in Rellekka. Brundt the Chieftain will replace it for free if the player destroys it or loses it. It is always lost on death. Because of this, it is recommended for players planning to return to Lunar Isle via Rellekka to destroy their seal of passage after each visit, as they can get a free replacement from Brundt if they do not have one banked as Rellekka is a long way from a bank if a player forgets their seal. If The Fremennik Isles is started, Maria Gunnars will transport the player to Neitiznot where there is a bank to use. If a player loses their seal during the Fremennik Exiles quest, they may have to talk to Brundt south-east of Rellekka to reobtain it.

Players who have completed the Fremennik Elite Diaries will no longer need to hold or wear a seal of passage in order to speak to the residents of Lunar Isle.
